The API key enables the security model for the Bizo API.  To access a Bizo API key, you must have an active Bizo BAMP (Business Audience Marketing Platform) account.  BAMP Audience Analytics is a free reporting tool which gives you information about the bizographics of your site visitors, which is often helpful when you begin to think through using the API.  Instrumenting your website with Bizo Insight Tags is not required to use the API, but we highly recommend it. 

1) Register or login to BAMP:

• If you do not have an account register here
  
• Registration gives you immediate access to BAMP and its free.
  
• If you have an active account login here

2) Once logged into BAMP access My Account

2) Select the API Info Tab

3) Select the green Request API Key button
4) Wait approximately 15 minutes and your API key will be available in the BAMP administration interface.  Your API key provides access to API functions from your  domain.  If you would like to issue API requests from multiple domains you can set up additional domains in the main account management page.
